Leah Rose Kolakowski
observer, imaginary, muse, creator, expressionist, visionary.
Hailing from a very small sleepy town in Pennsylvania, I have been an artist since I could get my hands on a paintbrush. I am a Native American artist, of the Keweenaw Bay Ojibwe tribe. Reconnecting with my Ojibwe heritage has become my calling. Photography has been my art medium of choice since 2009. Discovering new places fuels my imagination, as well as collaborating and working with other creative people. I always strive to challenge myself with new projects and open new doors. I find beauty in working with film and older photographic processes and always strive to keep my work timeless. I will never stop exploring.
